After a close game Saturday night with Spooner, we fell short in the state semifinals by a score of 3-2.

State tournament bracket has been set (see below)! We will be playing in Marshfield all weekend, first game being Friday night (8/20) at 9:30PM, taking on the Eau Claire Cavs.

A 15-1 win over Rib Lake yesterday qualifies us to move onto the state round of WBA Playoffs! Games next weekend will be split between two locations, Merrill and Marshfield. Both location and time we’ll play are TBD, but will be sure to let you all know tonight when/where we end up.

Playoff season is upon us! Below is the schedule for the weekend, with our first game being played on Saturday at 1PM against the Chippewa Falls Lumberjacks. From here, a win would put us in the 3PM game on Sunday against Rib Lake. A loss would have us playing a second game Saturday night at 7PM against Rib Lake. The regional round will be pool play, much like the State Tournament we played in last summer.

An 11-0 win last night keeps us in the tournament today, facing off against the Fish of River Falls at noon in Ellsworth. Everything seems to be on schedule as of this morning and hoping it stays that way!

After a 10-9 win yesterday against Plum City, we continue play tonight in the SCVBL Tournament. Originally scheduled to play in Ellsworth tonight, the weather has forced the league to make some changes. All tournament games today will be moved to River Falls, starting at 3PM. Pirates will face the winner of Hudson and Elmwood at 8PM.

Last night, the WBA held their annual seeding meeting to determine which teams will be playing at which site for the regional round of the WBA Playoffs. We were given a 2 seed and will be playing in River Falls, with our first game being at 1PM on 8/14.

The regional round will be pool play, with each pool consisting of 3 teams. The other two teams in our pool are Chippewa Falls (who we’ll play on 8/14) and Rib Lake. The rest of the River Falls site info is posted below for all to see what the weekend schedule will look like.

Play will resume this weekend as well for the second weekend of the SCVBL Tournament. Our first game this weekend will come on Friday night at 7:30PM against the Plum City Blues. Hope to see you all there!
