In game one of the playoffs we were able to best Whitehall by a score of 5-4, in 11 innings. Evan Bayer started the game for us and threw a solid 6 innings, then went to our draftee James Georgakas, and ended with Eric Munson throwing the last 2 1/3 innings. Peter Brookshaw ended up having the game-winning, walk-off hit up the middle in the bottom of the 11th inning to end the game with the bases loaded.
Sunday we played CCV in the second afternoon game. We went up against some solid pitching in this game and took a 1-0 lead in the 4th inning, with an RBI double from Mike Brookshaw, scoring Billy Brookshaw. Our bats went cold from then on out and we ended up getting beat by a score of 3-1, CCV advancing to the State tournament.
On behalf of the team, we want to thank everybody for the support throughout this season, both fans, sponsors, friends and family! We look forward to the offseason and coming back next summer ready to chase that title!

Our regular season came to a close last weekend, as we took on the Fish that Saturday night and Hudson that Sunday. We came out with a 6-4 W in River Falls, which was a great game to the very end. Our game against Hudson took a while, playing 13 innings, and ended up dropping that one to finish the season.
We finished the regular season with a 16-6 overall record, 13-5 in league play. The seeding meeting for the 2019 WBA Playoffs is being held tonight so we will find out what site we are playing (8/9, 8/10, 8/11) at this year a bit later tonight. The four playoff sites this year are Haugen, Spooner, Rib Lake, and Altoona. More to come on this..
We want to thank everyone for their continued support throughout the regular season this year and we look forward to making a run and seeing you all come playoff time!
